Scope3 is thrilled to welcome Christina Cubeta as our new Chief Marketing Officer.
Taking Scope3 further, faster
Scope3 started with a counterintuitive insight: that by solving fundamental problems around media waste and efficiency, sustainable marketing would be both more effective and better for the planet. Marketers around the world have embraced this "no brainer" value proposition and now CMOs are looking for the right way to bring sustainability and efficiency to every part of their marketing strategy.
We’ve built the products to deliver on this big idea; the industry has rallied around a sustainable marketing framework that aligns to global standards and regulations; and now it's time to take sustainable marketing mainstream. This isn't just a commercial imperative, it's a climate imperative that we can deploy and scale today.
Christina joins Scope3 to educate and grow the movement on a global level and develop the right programs that will help CMOs and their agency partners lead their organizations through this transformation. She will expand the company’s footprint and support our ability to deliver sustainable marketing solutions for everything that falls within a CMOs remit from digital advertising to omni-channel to AI and beyond.
A proven marketing leader
Christina is a transformative leader driving impact for businesses that are reshaping digital ecosystems. With nearly two decades of leadership as a strategic marketer and a business operator, she has driven rapid growth trajectories, cultivated leading brands, fostered inclusive company cultures, and championed equity and women's rights.
A multi-disciplinary marketing executive, Christina has led both marketing and commercial teams for consumer brands, digital technology companies and agencies. She deeply understands the interconnection between brand building and tactical marketing to drive growth. Her past roles includes leadership positions at FTD & Proflowers, Quantcast, Tribal DDB, and more.
As Chief Merchandising Officer and Consumer Division Head at FTD & Proflowers, she revitalized the consumer division, secured groundbreaking partnerships with iconic brands like Milk Bar and Baked by Melissa, and played a key role in navigating a complex merger. At Quantcast, Christina commercialized the first revenue generating product from pre-revenue to hundreds of millions and double digit YoY growth and positioned the company as one of the top three in big data. Her leadership in these roles drove growth and operational excellence.
The final piece of the puzzle
Christina’s appointment rounds out the executive team at Scope3. Alongside CEO Brian O’Kelley, she joins Brenda Tuohig (Chief Commercial Officer, previously at the Trade Desk), Anne Coghlan, COO/co-founder, and Mike Freyberger, CTO/co-founder (who were both previously a part of the successful build and sale of Appnexus to AT&T).
Together the leadership team will prioritize building the products, strategic relationships and operational structure for Scope3 to decarbonize the entire marketing ecosystem.
