Scope3 is thrilled to welcome two new senior commercial leaders to our global team: David Fischer to lead our global ad tech partnerships and Rosa Markarian to spearhead our expansion into Germany and beyond.
Following a $20M Series B fundraising round last quarter, the business continues to grow tremendously, and both David and Rosa will help to accelerate that momentum in two key areas, partnerships across the wider ad tech ecosystem and robust regional coverage.
Beyond the new additions to our commercial team, we’ve also recently grown our global research and services organization, and brought on seasoned experts across buyer development and account management.

David joins Scope3 as Head of Global Ad Tech Partnerships. David brings a unique caliber of leadership to the team that will help us continue forging the collaborative relationships with technology providers needed to build a more sustainable advertising ecosystem for all.
David is an accomplished business operator and strategic commercial leader with deep experience across the ad tech/data industry. He has an exceptional track record of success resulting in four acquisitions during his career. David has held leadership roles at industry leading companies such as Doubleclick, Yahoo!, Nielsen, Publicis and Sizmek most recently serving as President, North America at Captify. More about Rosa:
Joining as Head of Central Europe, and based in Berlin, Rosa’s appointment officially extends Scope3’s footprint into Germany. She will be leading all business and client relationships in the German market and by extension in Central Europe.
Rosa brings more than 15 years of experience in media and advertising to Scope3 from serving in various leadership roles across the digital advertising value chain. These have included positions at Amazon's advertising technology division, leading media agency GroupM as well as roles on the publisher and advertiser side. A regular speaker and conference host, Rosa is a recognised voice in the industry and was named one of the top three nominees for the German Digital Female Leadership Award.
In her own words, Rosa on joining Scope3: “Knowing the extent of the emissions problem in digital advertising, the industry has an imperative to change how we operate to ensure a more sustainable future. In Germany, the emissions generated in one year from digital advertising alone equate to 350 fully booked flights from Berlin to Sydney. With extensive understanding of the complex ad environment and a deep commitment to accurately modelling emissions, Scope3 is taking the approach needed to drive meaningful change, and I’m excited to be joining this mission.”
