Every team member has helped Scope3 make progress toward mission, and over the last several months a few people have taken on additional responsibility and delivered exceptional work.

Congratulations to the following Scope3 members (ScopeThreeps!) on their well-deserved promotions:

Lillie Ratliff – Head of Research and Solutions

From driving successful pilot programs with global players like the WFA to spearheading technical implementations with key partners, Lillie’s strategic engagement in technology and leadership has been instrumental in Scope3’s recent growth.

As an empathetic and experienced services leader, Lillie has built out the Scope3 Solutions team, setting strong foundations, processes, structure, and company subject matter expertise for the function. Her expanded role leading both Research and Solutions puts her in a position to continue to help both the industry and our partners better understand emissions data and use it to drive reduction.

Mike Freyberger – Head of Engineering

As one of the company's co-founders and technical leaders, Mike has driven critical projects at Scope3, particularly relating to the creation and refinement of our emissions model — he was the primary architect of the supply graph at the heart of it and has cultivated deep technical partnerships with our data providers.

Mike is a pragmatic and enthusiastic leader, playing a vital role in hiring talented engineers and fostering a collaborative environment where his team can thrive. In his new role as Head of Engineering, Mike will continue to impact Scope3's culture and team effectiveness, and spearhead strategic engineering projects.

Emma Etherington – Lead Engineer

Emma’s talent and commitment to driving our mission forward has led to tremendous accomplishments within Scope3. Emma has been at the forefront of many core technology projects for the business, including her contributions to the open source methodology and built the data ingestion framework that analyzes millions of data points every day to create our models.

She leads our API development and holds an integral role in everything related to Scope3’s seller specific measurement, supply directness and programmatic insights. Emma inspires the entire team to create better products and she will continue to drive these high standards in her new role as Lead Engineer.
